What is this all about?

The DHS has a "binder" of keywords that they are using to monitor social networks for potential threats; these keywords just happen to be perfect for (often humorous) band names of this type. After reading through them, I put this tool together based on it to add a bit of levity to the subject of mass domestic surveillance. It's also a fun way to spread awareness about the state of Civil Liberties in America today. Suggestions for additions are welcome, and you can email the author by clicking on the name in the "Who made this?" section.

Where does the source data come from?

The data is taken from the DHS' "Analyst's Desktop Binder" that was recently released, along with some custom data for humorous effect.
