Spencer Thomas is a New York-based Industrial music artist who created the Opir music project in 2008 as an outlet for political, social, and economic opinions on some of today's most difficult issues. An avid follower of current and historical affairs, and a possessing a desire to create detailed, articulate, coherent, complex, eclectic and electronic, harsh sounding music dealing with these issues, he started composing the first album, "America: 25 years in review (1983-2008)." The hope is to create music, lyrics, and articles that live up to the idea that music can be intricate, articulate, powerful, and have strong messages. Smart, appropriately angry political music.
